Royal pardon for Alan Turing (UK)

On 24 December 2013 Queen Elizabeth II granted a posthumous royal pardon to Alan Turing, convicted in 1952 for homosexuality and chemically castrated. It paved the way for the 2017 "Turing law" pardoning thousands of others.
